The Sunrise Community is part of the Shadowridge Subdivision in Vista. The “hub” of the Shadowridge Subdivision is the Shadowridge Country Club and Golf Course. Sunrise is comprised of a total of 72 twin homes. They are all located on one street called Spyglass Circle. There is a modestly sized community swimming pool with a Jacuzzi. Although there is no clubhouse there is an enclosed area around the swimming pool large enough for the neighbors to have several parties throughout the year. The community was extremely well planed with most of the homes placed immediately adjacent to the golf course. Each home on the golf course has a patio area with rod iron fences. The green landscaping of the golf course provides a lovely and relaxing environment for the residents. As the community is on a circle with no through access, the privacy and serenity is enhanced.
The twin-homes consist of a two story three bedroom, three bath home attached to a single story two bedroom two bath home. The three bedroom homes are range from 1835 to approximately 2224 square feet. The two bedroom homes have a couple of different floor plans that run from 1480 to 1525 square feet. The homes were designed by very talented architects. Although built in 1986 the basic design and floor-plans are consistent with homes built in the 21st century. The homes all have lots of windows that provide bright and cheery living space. Every home was designed with open floor plans and they all have vaulted ceilings. Although modest in size the homes were designed extremely efficiently. The lack of interior hallways provides the illusion that the homes are larger than the square footage indicates.
The home values have declined the past couple of years and run from about $410,000 for the two bedrooms to $460,000 for the larger homes.
